A California man is facing trial after police were called to a residence in Belle Vernon where three dogs were reported to have been left in a car with insufficient ventilation. The man is facing multiple charges, including ones related to both firearms and drug possession. When police arrived at the home, they allegedly discovered what appeared to be marijuana-growing paraphernalia during a routine inventory of the vehicle the dogs were held in.
Rapper 2 Chainz was taken into custody at LAX after a search of his checked baggage allegedly revealed marijuana and promethazine. Promethazine is used as the main ingredient in a dangerous drug cocktail called sizzurp that is well known among rappers. Although promethazine is legal when properly dispensed by an authorized medical professional, authorities have not confirmed as to whether 2 Chainz had been prescribed the drug by a doctor.
The principal of an elementary school in Santa Clara was arraigned recently on six different drug charges. One of those charges being that he offered meth to a narcotics agent who was undercover. He originally connected with the agent through a dating website. The man in question had served as the principal for seven years at Montague Elementary. He was arrested after a tip to the local drug task force led them in his direction. An undercover agent contacted him through the dating website and that's when they began texting each other. Throughout the messages, Lewis offered to supply the officer with drugs. It was with that information that they were able to begin searching his apartment. During the search, they uncovered eight ecstasy pills, three vials of GHB and a quarter-ounce of meth.
