An Orange County masseuse is arrested, accused of sexual assault

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying potential victims of sexual abuse that may have been preyed upon by a recently-arrested Orange County massage therapist. This request began circulating just one day after the 32-year-old Laguna Hills man’s arrest on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, on suspicion of sexually assaulting one of his clients.

The man, who was employed at Massage Heights in Mission Viejo, is accused of having sexually assaulted his female client on February 17 during her appointment for a massage session. The woman immediately reported the alleged sexual assault to law enforcement.

As a result of the victim’s report being filed, a five-day investigation was initiated. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that, during the defendant’s prior employment with Main Place Chiropractic in Orange, he might have engaged in sexually assaulting his clients there as well.

Police are looking to determine if the man worked at Orange County massage studios as well. If they determine he has, then they are interested in finding out if he has engaged in similar sex crimes at those locations.

The defendant was booked on suspicion of sexual battery on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2017 with a hearing scheduled for the following day. Law enforcement officers with the county’s special victims unit are continuing to urge anyone that might have been sexually assaulted by the man to come forward and help with their investigation.

If you or someone you know is facing allegations of a some type of sex crime whether it be sexual assault, abuse, or battery, rape or any other similar offense, an Orange County, California, sex crimes attorney can provide advice and guidance in your legal matter.
